Apparently I don't know how to blog either.

I mean I was feeling all rad and everything because my first blog post held a stamp mark was from 3:00 today but now I accidently deleted that post (because I duplicated it to try and create a second blog post and then deleted the old one and $*#$*&$&&#^$@*#!*$&). Sorry I had a moment. Anyways, good news is my first post was completely plagiarizing myself from jotform:

CAKEd is an arbitrary movement I'm starting to Connect Atlanta with Kindness and Empathy in Dating.

I've already been in this dating scene for too long and have had enough friends, situationships, exes, dudes-who-thought-we-are-exes-but-I-didn't-know we even dated, stalkers (whatever... it's cool) to see that there's a common theme here. No matter how brilliant, wealthy, intelligent, deep, douchy, gorgeous, down-to-earth, we are all seeking that connection that technology cannot place (but is trying really really hard to replace).

So here we go...

CAKEd members are asked to treat one another with empathy, kindness and transparency. We start by setting DIFFERENT SOCIAL NORMS to the dating game and increase self-awareness of our own values system and sense of self. Let's become more kind and empathic when online dating and modern life makes it increasingly harder to connect with the humanness in all of us.

There was also a footnote in the original blog post saying I couldn't figure out how to include "T" from transparency into the name... suggestions are welcome (although the domain has been paid for already).

BTW- it's so amazing to not be a professor anymore. I can't fathom what it's like right now to figure out how to teach Research Methods and figure out whether students are plagiarizing, or writing their own papers. Is that even a skillset that's going to be needed?
